Under 19 Div. 2 Tier ‘A’ Final Holy Cross Kalutara clinch Under 19 Tier ‘A’ title

Holy Cross College Kalutara prevailed against Lyceum International School Wattala in the final of the Under 19 Division Two Tier ‘A’ limited over tournament when they recorded a comfortable six wicket win to clinch the title.  
It was sweet revenge for Holy Cross side as they came as the underdogs having lost to their opponents in a first round match of the tournament.   

They put themselves in a strong position in the morning session of play thanks to Pasindu Wimansa who bagged four scalps and was supported by Sanuka Cheran as the duo combined to bowl out Lyceum IS for a low score of 74 runs.  

Holy Cross in their run chase had little difficulty in achieving the target as they coasted to victory with ease in the 27th over.  

Result – Holy Cross won 

by six wickets

Lyceum International School Wattala 74 in 23.2 overs (Ryan Perera 15: Pasindu Wimansa 4 for 16, Sanuka Cheran 2 for 20)
