Under 19 Division One Semi Final - Tier ‘B’

Two arch rivals in the schools rugby arena will now battle it out in another sport when they clash in the semi final encounter of the Under 19 inter-school Division One Tier ‘B’ two day cricket tournament scheduled to be played today and tomorrow at the Navy SC grounds in Welisara.   
The two teams contested in the Group Y with St. Peter’s led by Sri Lanka youth player Vishen Halambage ended as the second best team and in the quarter final encounter they got the better of Dharmaraja with a first innings win.   
Isipathana led by Sithuka Gunawardena advanced to the quarter by virtue of ending up as the number one team in their group and posted a first innings win over St. Aloysius’ Galle in the quarter final to qualify to the semi final. The winner will meet Lumbini MV in the final.
