Under 19 Final Sandith puts Taxila Central on top

An unbeaten 79 in 100 balls inclusive of ten boundaries and a six by Sandith Ranaweera helped Taxila Central Horana to end day one in the final of the Under 19 inter-schools Division Two Tier ‘B’ two day cricket tournament against Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte MV in a strong position.

Sri Jayawardenapura MV taking first lease of the wicket were bowled out for a low score of 138 with Savindu Savin who ended with a four wicket haul doing the damage. 
Taxila Central in their turn helped by Ranaweera’s  unbeaten knock ended the day on 177 for 3. The match will be continued today.
