Defending champions and runner-up Devapathiraja MMV Rathgama and last year’s runners-up Wadduwa MMV along with Anuka BV Nugegoda booked the berths to the semi-finals of the Girls Under 19 inter-school cricket tournament with wins over Princess of Wales Moratuwa, Vijayaba Vidyalaya Okkampitiya and Sri Siddartha MMV Eppawala respectively in the quarter-final encounters played at Panadura, Kotte and Giriulla.
Devapathiraja MMV posted a comfortable 107 runs win over Princess of Wales while Wadduwa MMV recorded a massive 165-run win against Vijayaba Vidyalaya and Anula BV defeated Sri Siddartha MMV by nine wickets.
