Under 19 Girls’ Cricket Kekirawa Central, St. Anthony’s Girls clash for final berth

Two schools from the outstations, Kekirawa Central from North Central Province and St. Anthony’s Girls College Katugastota from Central Province, will square off for a place in the final of the Under 19 Girls’ Division Two limited over cricket tournament at Wickramashila National School ground in Giriulla today.


In the run up to the semi-final Kekirawa Central led by Nimesha Lekamge made it to the semi-final by recording wins against Seelarathana Maha Vidyalaya and Dharmapala College Pannipitiya in the pre-quarter and quarter-final encounters while St. Anthony’s led by Shalani Dassanayake got the better of Uhana Maha Vidyalaya and Dudley  Senanayake Central College Tholangamuwa.
