Under 19 Limited Over Nushal. Nethma crack tons in Ananda’s win

Tons by opener Nushal Dharmaratne and Nethma Karunaratne helped Ananda College coast to a comfortable 125 run win over Dharmasoka MV Ambalangoda in a high scoring Under 19 limited over encounter played at Ambalangoda yesterday.   


Dharmaratne slammed a quick fire 174 in only 108 balls that included 14 boundaries and 11 towering sixes. Dharmaratne featured in two valuable partnerships with the first being an opening wicket stand of 92 runs with Lakshitha Karunaratne and the other of 169 runs for the second wicket with Karunaratne who made an unbeaten ton for Ananda taking first lease of the wicket to make an imposing score of 377 for 4.   


Dharmasoka MV in their run chase was restricted to a score of 252 runs with bowling trio Shakthi Udara, Pulinda Kiriella and Hansaja Jayasinghe who together shared eight wickets between them doing the damage.
