Under 19 Provincial Youth League CNZ 1 maintain unbeaten record with fifth win

Colombo North Zone 1 maintained their unbeaten record in the ongoing Under 19 Provincial Youth League limited over tournament as they chalked up their fifth successive win with a two-wicket win over Gampaha Zone 1 in the match played at St. Anthony’s College ground in Wattala.

Colombo North Zone after restricting their opponents to a score of 218 runs was helped by a half ton by Avintha de Alwis which enabled them to reach the target with two overs to spare.
Gampaha Zone 2 and Mannar overcame Colombo North Zone 3 and Mullaitivu to record their second win of the tournament while Hambantota got the better of Monaragala to post their first win.
