Under 19 Schools’ Cricket Awards U19 champs Trinity best cricket team in CP

Trinity College U-19 Cricket Squad with their awards

Trinity College were selected Best Team from the Central Province for the year 2022/2023 Inter-Schools cricket season at the Under-19 Schools Cricket Awards 2023 held at the BMICH in Colombo.  

The Trinity Team was led by Rahal Amarasinghe with Naveen Ekanayake as their Head Coach. In addition, Dinuka Tennekoon was named Best Bowler All-Island.  

Trinity also ended as the champions of the Under-19 Division One Tier ‘A’ Cricket Tournament and were joint champions at the Under-19 Division One two-day tournament.  

The awards ceremony was organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and Sri Lanka Cricket with Sunday Times as the media sponsors.
