Vidyartha win Kandy District U20 Hockey C’ships

Vidyartha College won the Kandy District Under 20 Hockey Championship 2022 which took place at the University ground in Peradeniya recently. Vidyartha drew with Trinity nil-all and beat Antonians 2-0.

In the semi-final encounter they got the better of the Rajans 6-5 in a penalty shoot out. They beat Trinity in the final 2-0.

Vidyartha will participate at the Under All Island Inter Schools Hockey Tournament which will take place from 12 to 15 Oct in Matale.
