Visakha Vidyalaya Under-17 Netball Team

Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo and Our Lady of Victories (OLV) Convent, Moratuwa won the Under-17 and Over-17 Schools Netball titles at the Western Province Netball Association (WPNA) League Netball Tournament, conducted by the Western Province Netball Association held at the National Youth Services Council Indoor Stadium in Maharagama.   Visakha Vidyalaya beat Samudra Devi Balika, Nugegoda 18-10 in the Under-17 final while OLV Convent beat Lewis College, Colombo 19-10 in the Over-17 final.   
Ranudi Weerawardena of Visakha Vidyalaya and Shernaya Rodrigo of OLV Convent won the Most Valuable Player’s Award.   
Over 28 teams participated in this tournament.
