Vishal guides Kandy Zone 1 to victory

Kandy Zone 1 beat Kandy Zone 2 in their Under-19 Provincial Youth League encounter, which concluded at the Lake View ground in Kandy recently.

Kandy Zone 1 scored 142, but with rainy conditions, the target for Zone 2 was reduced to 117 runs in 28 overs.

A fine piece of bowling by off-spinner Vishal Gardiwasam (Sri Rahula College, Katugastota), who took four wickets, helped Zone 1 secure the win.
