Winning start for Antonians

St. Anthony’s College commenced their Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket season with an innings and 76-run win over Dharmaraja College at Katugastota.  
Left-arm spinner Kaveesha Piyumal had a dream start for the season when he captured a matchbag of nine wickets for 77.  

Chief scores Dharmaraja: 78 in 40.2 overs (Isuru Pannala 43, Kaveesha Piyumal 7/32) and 116 in 68 overs (Isuru Pannala 45, Bimash Vidudaya 4/14, Thisara Ekanayake 2/26, Kaveesha Piyumal 2/45)  

  St. Anthony’s: 270/6 decl in 69 overs (Janith Rathnasiri 75, Thisara Ekanayake 72, Kevan Ramika 43, Shehan Marasinghe 2/39).
