Women’s Super Four Team Grey record second successive win

Team Grey continued their winning streak in the ongoing Women Super Four limited over cricket tournament when they defeated team Red by three wickets in a low scoring match played at the BRC ground.   

Team Red took first lease of the wicket was bowled out for 81 runs and Team Grey in their run chase was helped by an unbeaten knock of 32 by Hansima Karunaratne which helped them to race to the target in the 32nd over.

At BRC – Team Grey won by three wickets

Team Red 81 in 35.4 overs (Prasadani Weerakkody 18; Inoshi Fernando 3 for 18, Inoka Ranaweera 3 for `8)   
Team Grey 82 for 7 in 31.5 overs (Hansima Karunaratne 32 not out; Malsha Shehani 3 for 8)
