Women’s U23 Inter-District T20 Galle Women emerge champions

At Maggona – Galle Women won by 18 runs
Galle Women 92 in 18.2 overs (Nethangi Isuranjalee 30: Nipuni Navodya 2 for 11, Hasini Wijesinghe 2 for 22, Kavishki Hashmika 2 for 22)   
Gampaha Women 74 for 9 in 20 overs (Sandali Weerasinghe 16: Shashini Gimhani 3 for 14, Lakshi Abhimani 2 for 10)

Galle Women champions of the Women’s U23 Inter-District T20 tournament when they recorded a close 15 runs win over Gampaha Women in the final played at the Surrey Village ground in Maggona yesterday.    Galle Women taking first lease of the wicket made a score of 92 and then Shashini Gimhani and Lakshi Abhimani shared five wickets between them to restrict Gampaha Women for a score of 74 runs.
