Zaid Zihar clinch Men’s Open title

Zaid Zihar clinched the Men’s Open singles title of the 109th Colombo Tennis Championship when he coasted to a convincing two sets to nil win over Luca Knese in the final played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.   

Ganuka Fernando bagged the Under 16 Boys’ title by overcoming Louis Knese also by two sets to nil in the final which was worked off concurrently at the same venue.   
Results - Finals:

Under 16 Boys – Ganuka Fernando beat Louis Knese 2-0 (6/4, 6/1).   
Men’s Open – Zaid Zihar beat Luca Knese 2-0 (6/3, 6/1).
