  • The All Share Price Index gained marginally to close at 7,021.9 points (+0.1%), whilst the Milanka Price Index closed flat at 7,326.8 points (0.0%).

  • The total turnover was LKR3,495.9 mn (USD31,514.5 k)  vs. 12-month average daily turnover of LKR2,476.9 mn (USD22,328.5 k) whilst the volume traded for the day was 350,710 k against the 12-month average daily volume of 84,450 k.

  •   Colombo bourse took a breather after seeing continues upside but continued to generate healthy turnover levels. Laugfs Gas (Voting and Non Voting) saw selling pressure during the day despite counter posting impressive nine months results of LKR750.3 mn (up by 93.9% YoY). Environmental Resource Investments witnessed all round investor interest. SMB Leasing (Warrant 2016) saw renewed retail buying interest whilst retailers were seen active on First Capital Holdings. Further Emagewise Pvt Ltd made a mandatory offer to acquire the remaining voting shares of Citrus Leisure at LKR86.00 per share.

 

  •   A net inflow of foreign funds were seen during the day, where foreign purchases amounted to LKR306.1 mn (USD2,759.4 k), whilst foreign sales amounted to LKR188.4 mn (USD1,698.4 k).

 

  •   Market capitalization is at LKR2,342.9 bn. YTD market performance is up 5.8%.
