Colombo Bike Week kicks off today

The ‘Colombo Bike Week’, a big motor cycle event covering about 800 km over a period of seven days around Sri Lanka, will take place 
from March 14 to 19, 2016 on the streets of Sri Lanka with Harley Davidson Bikes.
The experience of Colombo Bike Week 2016 has a great potential to attract high-end tourists who are searching for unique adventure and experiential travel resulting in positive word of mouth.


The riders are set to commence the tour from March 14 to 19, 2016 starting from Kalutara and covering main cities of Hikkaduwa, Matara, Udawalawe, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Habarana, Sigiriya, Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Chilaw, Negombo and Colombo.  


The ride is designed for all types of big bike riders representing 15 participants from Malaysia and the UK. The sophisticated Harley Davidson-branded bikes will be showcased from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Galle Face Green at the end of the tour and will liven up the streets 
of Colombo with the thunder of the Harley Davidson bikes.


Colombo Bike Week is organised by BuzzwordSdn Bhd and Motor Adventure Sports (MAS) Ceylon and is supported by the Sports Ministry and Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau with the intention of attracting adventure and experiential travel among high-end tourists.
