Koala’s product range sparks visitor interest

The 11th edition of the Hotel Show Colombo 2016 concluded recently with the participation of an influential gathering of hotel industry experts, hotel owners and related parties with an interest in the tourism, food and beverage industry.
Koala (Pvt) Ltd recognised for showcasing exciting modern and innovative designs for the hospitality sector participated as a key exhibitor, presenting its comprehensive portfolio of luxurious and exclusive brands generating a strong interested among leading hotel chains, hotel suppliers and private consumers.
Promoting its eclectic, premium products from Nude, Robert Welch, Forbes Industries Asia, Oneida table top solutions, Saint Andrea Flatware (cutlery), Spain’s Vicrilla glassware and its own products, Koala appealed to the varying needs of all those who visited its stall.
“We believe this year’s show was extremely successful and we are excited by the leads generated. Koala also acts as the exclusive distributor in Sri Lanka for all the international brands displayed at our stall and we were extremely impressed by the calibre of the visitors and enquiries,” noted Imtiaz Azeez, Head of Sales and Business Development, Koala (Pvt) Ltd.
Istanbul-based global design brand Nude, was introduced to the local market during this year’s Hotel Show. Nude offers timeless and contemporary designs in mainly crystal glassware.
Another world class product exhibited at the Koala stall was Robert Welch (RW), provider of premium cutlery, kitchen knives and tableware for restaurants, hotels and hospitality businesses around the globe.   The RW Kitchen range showcased included professional knives for chefs and cutlery for banquets and household needs.
Under its own brand, Koala presented a range of crystal clear, virtually unbreakable polycarbonate glassware, ideal for outdoor use by the hotel sector.
“We also had on display our own stainless steel range of products, which included an exhaust canopy and a rotisserie, which was well-accepted by the professionals in the food and beverage sector who visited the stall. Koala products received praise for its clarity and fineness andwe see a good potential of placing and positioning our brands within the local food service industry,” Azeez added.  Forbes Industries Asia, the world’s leading manufacturer of hotel and food/restaurant service equipment also displayed its wide range of catering and housekeeping products at the show.
Forbes Asia presented the hospitality sector with products high in quality, functionality and durability, with features that enhance operational efficiency, user-friendliness and safety.  Visitors to the stall had the opportunity to meet with Michael Koo from Forbes Asia to gain more insight on the exhibited products.
