We remain committed to providing our China-based passengers with unparalleled in-flight and on-the-ground products and services, while creating memorable travel experiences for this important market.”
Running for over a decade, the Business Traveller China Awards have created an industry-wide benchmark for excellence in China. The awards are decided based on readers’ votes with the results authenticated by an independent auditing company. Readers consist of frequent travellers in China who cast their vote for the top airline and hospitality organisations in the industry.
Qatar Airways North Asia Vice President Paul Johannes accepted the Business Traveller China Award on behalf of the airline.
Commenting on the trio of award wins, Johannes said, “We are delighted to be receiving these three awards in quick succession here in China this November. The awards are testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence in all that we do – be it from offering the best premium product today, to the extensive Oryx One in-flight entertainment system that is made available to all passengers travelling with us in both Premium and Economy cabins. On behalf of Qatar Airways, I would like to extend my gratitude to our valued passengers who have travelled with us and voted for us.”

To date in 2016, the airline has launched new routes to Adelaide, Atlanta, Birmingham, Boston, Helsinki, Los Angeles, Marrakech, Pisa, Ras Al Khaimah, Sydney, Windhoek, Yerevan and Krabi and the Seychelles will join the airline’s network in December. The airline plans to launch an array of exciting destinations in 2017, including Auckland, which will be the world’s longest commercial flight. Offered in partnership with Qatar Tourism Authority, transiting passengers can explore at ease the various highlights Doha has to offer – from the world-renowned Museum of Islamic Art to the Katara Cultural Village or desert safaris and much more.
