TravelBridge, a subsidiary of Expolanka Holdings, was appointed as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Tboholidays in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Tboholidays, a division of TEK Travels DMCC, Dubai, UAE, is an internationally known business-to-business (B2B) travel portal with a business footprint in 55 countries round the globe. As a wholesale supplier offering over 200000 hotels (live inventory) worldwide through multiple aggregators and on direct contracts, the company also offers readymade dynamic packages and ancillary ground services online.

Tboholidays conducted a two-day training programme for over 30 travel agents in Sri Lanka to introduce the travel portal to new users and familiarized existing users to its new look and features.

Commenting on the appointment TravelBridge Director Saif Yusoof said, “At TravelBridge we offer travel agents a one-point access to virtually every travel service. This partnership with Tboholidays will be yet another feature of our extensive portfolio of services. Tboholidays offers a user-friendly service that aligns perfectly with today’s travel needs and we are immensely pleased with the opportunity to offer such a value-added service to our customers.”

During the two-day training session, Tboholidays Chief Operating Officer V.K. Balaji briefed Sri Lankan travel agents about the key features of the portal and the value it brings to travel agents through the partnership with TravelBridge. Tboholidays Key Account Manager for UAE and Sri Lanka Riyaz Ikram presented a comprehensive overview of the travel portal, covering aspects such as hotel booking, generating sales reports to evaluate productivity and user creation for multiple users within a single agency.

Commenting on the GSA appointment, Balaji said, “In addition to being user friendly, the B2B portal will be an efficient one-stop solution for travel agents including start-up businesses looking to add value to their existing portfolio through integration of hotel and airport pick-up and drop services.”
