Colombo’s Ran Pokuna

The ‘Ran Pokuna’ bathing well is claimed to be the largest well in Colombo. It was reconstructed twice in the years of 1978 and 2012 and currently maintained by an association of three-wheeler owners’ in Colombo. The area of the well is around five acres. This well has a long history that extends for around hundred of years. According to the residents, around fifty people are using the well daily.
