Jumbo found dead in Ambalangoda; cause unknown

A 74-year-old elephant died yesterday of unknown causes in Kandewatte, Ambalangoda.
The elephant which was walking along a road collapsed in the presence of its mahout. The elephant died despite efforts by veterinary surgeons to save it.
