The Western Province annual League Netball Tournament 2024 conducted by the Western Province Netball Association (WPNA) will be held on August 25 at the National Youth Service Council Indoor Stadium in Maharagama commencing at 8.00 a.m.  

The tournament will be conducted in two categories namely - Western Province Inter-Club and Inter-Schools Under-17 and Over 17, WPNA Secretary Rio Ramlan told the Daily Mirror.   
40 teams, including 25 schools and 15 clubs have already confirmed their participation in this tournament.  

The teams:

‘A’ Division Clubs (Women): Speedbirds SC, Speedmax SC, Flying Birds SC, Goal-Getters SC, Ladyhawks SC, Inland Revenue SC and Familians SC.  

‘A’ Division (Men): United SC and Sooriya Kiran SC.Veterans (Over-45): Sharks SC, Familians SC, Ladyhawks SC and Inland Revenue SC.   

Schools (Under-17 and Over-17): All Saints College, Bishop’s College, Colombo South International School, Sri Jayewardenepura MV, Gateway College, Gurukula College, Hejaaz International School, Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, Holy Family Convent, Dehiwala, Lindsay College, Lyceum, Wattala, Methodist College, Colombo, Our Lady of Victories Convent, Moratuwa, Princess of Wales, Moratuwa, Samudra Devi Balika, Nugegoda, Sirimavo Balika, Colombo, St. Bridget’s Convent, Colombo, St. Clare’s Balika, Colombo, St. Joseph’s Balika, Nugegoda, St. Paul’s Girls’ School, Milagiriya, St. Peter’s College, Negombo, Sussex College, Malabe and Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo.
