Third-year player Anuhas Kodithuwakku, who plays at Centre, will lead Trinity College’s Under 19 1st XV outfit for the 2024 rugby season which will commence in early May.  

Kodithuwakku, who took to rugby at the age of 10, represented all junior age groups, being part of the Under 14 all island champion outfit in the 10-a-side tournament where they beat Isipathana College in the final.  

He was also part of the Under 16 unbeaten rugby outfit as well.  

Kodithuwakku also represented his school in athletics in the 200m, 400m and high jump events at zonal meets.  

There will be two Vice Captains in the Trinity outfit for 2024, with Thisanga Dissanayake and Ravin Ilangaratne occupying those positions, which is a first in their rugby history of 118 years. (Shamseer Jaleel)
