CCC, Moors SC record fourth outright win

Five matches of the Major Club three-day cricket tournament ended in outright wins yesterday. 

In Group A, the two top teams, CCC and Moors SC continued their winning streaks recording their fourth wins.

CCC outclassed Sebastianites C&AC by an innings and 254 runs at the CCC ground and Moors SC recording a comfortable seven-wicket win over BRC at Braybrooke Place, while the other team to record an outright win in this group was Kandy Customs CC who overcame Kalutara TC by nine wickets for their second outright win.

In Group B, Bloomfield C&AC achieved their second outright win with an easy four-wicket win over Air Force SC and Panadura SC got the better of Navy SC by an innings and 90 runs to post their first outright win.

The other matches played ended in first innings wins for SSC, Ragama CC, Army SC, Chilaw Marians CC, NCC, Kurunegala YCC and Saracens SC.
