Malay CC cruised to an easy seven-wicket win over Army SC in their SLC Major Club Tier ‘B’ T20 Cricket Tournament encounter played at Welisara. 

Army SC taking first lease of the wicket made 111 and Malay CC in their run chase raced to the target with ease in the 16th over.

Meanwhile, Old Dharmapalians SC and United Southern SC recorded wins against Galle CC and Kandy CC in their matches played at the Air Force Grounds and FTZ Grounds in Katunayake while the rain-curtailed match between Air Force SC and Moratuwa SC ended in a tie.

Army SC: 111/8 in 20 overs (Shehan Fernando 36, Prabath Kavinda 34, Sudara Dhakshina 3/15, Dilan Tharaka 3/21)

At Katunayake - Old Dharmapalians SC won by six wickets. 

Galle CC: 104 in 20 overs (Nimanda Subasinghe 28, Nimantha Gunasiri 26, Chathura Peiris 3/23, Sugeeth Nimnada 2/20, Shanaka Sampath 2/25)

At Katunayake - United Southern SC won by eight wickets.
