Nippon Paint Rugby League kicks off today

The Nippon Paint Rugby League will kick-off today with Navy SC hosting Police SC at Welisara.

The league competition returns after last year’s season was prematurely called off due to the political crisis in the country.

Kandy SC were awarded the title, having led at that point the tournament was suspended, edging out Havelock SC who were in second. Other matches scheduled for the opening weekend include Havelock SC hosting CR & FC, Kandy SC welcoming Army SC to Nittawela and CH & FC visiting Air Force SC.
