Police Sports Club will make all effort to make a comeback when they lock horns in their fifth game of the Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament when they confront last placed Navy Sports Club at Welisara today. The kick-off is at 3.45 p.m.

Led by the experienced Mohan Wimalaratne and well supported by Akasha Madushanka, Hirantha Perera and Lahiru Thilakaratne Police SC are a formidable outfit but they are yet to hit the peak.

They lost out to Army SC in a shorter game, CH and FC and Havelock SC. They are coached by Nilfer Ibrahim. They are the defending Clifford Cup winners plus won the Plate segment as well during the last season but they are finding it tough to get into form.

They have some good players, such as Thilina Weerasinghe, Skipper Stephan Gregory and Shabith Musheen, the former Wesley College player.

According to form Police SC should pull it off but will come through some tough times in front of the home team supporters at Welisara.
