Action from the match between Sri Lanka and Myanmar

The second FIFA International Friendly football encounter between Sri Lanka and Myanmar ended in a 0-0 draw at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar, yesterday.

This was an improved performance from the Sri Lankan players after their 0-2 defeat earlier against the same opponents at the same venue a couple of days ago.

Both teams had their share of chances in the first half and in the second half, but none of them could convert them into goals and break the deadlock.

The pressure also took a heavy toll on both players in their attempt to score, as they were involved in a couple of incidents where the referee had to step in and calm down the situation.

Sri Lanka are currently placed 200th in the FIFA Rankings, while Myanmar are in 167th position.
