SL women spikers suffer second defeat against Kazakhstan

Sri Lanka lost to Kazakhstan 3-1 in their second match of the Central Asia Women’s Challenge Cup 2023 Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday (23).

The tournament conducted by the Central Asian Volleyball Association with the participation of eight countries will continue until May 28 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Sri Lanka won the first set 25-18 of the Pool ‘B’ preliminary round match before Kazakhstan won the next three sets 16-25, 26-28 and 27-29.

Sri Lanka, who lost 3-0 to Uzbekistan in the opening match of the tournament, will play against Maldives on Wednesday (24).
