St. Mary’s College, Chilaw and Loyola College, Daluwakotuwa clinched the Boys’ Under-17 and Boys’ Under-20 titles respectively at the All-Island National School Games Beach Volleyball Championships, held in Negombo.

The tournament conducted by the Education Ministry was held under two age group categories.

In the Boys’ Under-17 Tournament final, St. Marys’ defeated Maris Stella College while in the Boys’ Under-19 Tournament final, Loyola College beat Divisamara MV, Seeduwa.  

President’s College, Nattandiya won third place in the Boys’ Under-17 Tournament while St. Xavier’s College, Marawila secured third place in the Boys’ Under-20 Tournament.  

Kavindu Sathsara and Sheshan Ranuka represented the champion St. Mary’s Beach Volleyball Team while Dian Matheesha and Nilaksha Hirushan turned out for the victorious Loyola Beach Volleyball Team.
