The funeral of late M. Jayasinghe - father of Sri Lanka Olympic Silver Medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe will be held in Athnawala today at 2.30 p.m.   

The late Jayasinghe was 85 years old at the time of his demise and his remains are lying in Athnawala Road, Uduwaka in Algama.  

Earlier, Susanthika’s mother, Menikpura Baby Nona also passed away at the age of 81 after an illness. (SP)
