Trinity, the school to start rugby in 1906 and continued in tandem without any stoppage will be under fourth year player and cracking centre, Anuhas Kodithuwakku for the 2024 Inter-Schools Under-19 rugby season.

Anuhas will have Thisanga Dissanayake and Ravin Illangarathne as his two deputy skippers of the outfit. Both are best in the schools rugby this year.
These three seniors all are colours winners in rugby while Sachindu Wanasekera (athletics), Yewan Hulangamuwa (football) and Dinusha Peiris (cricket) are fame in different sports as well.

They also have senior player, Rushen Bandaranayake, who is a nippy scrum half who is also in the outfit. The backline looks a yard faster than many schools in the scrum while there are few injury concerns with the forwards.

Trinity came closer of winning the League Championship several times in the recent past and the last time they emerged champions was in 1987 under Tyrrell Rajapakse, who led the unbeaten outfit to League and Knock-Out championship wins.

In that season Trinity, coached by Alex Lazarus, conceded only a solitary try.

Meanwhile, Fazil Marija is the Head Coach of the 2024 outfit with Viraj Prashanth looking after the forwards and Kapila Silva as the Team Manager.

Trinity will be determined to bring back the Bradby Shield, which they last won under Tharinda Ratwatte. They played one match so far beating S. Thomas’ College 31-8 to retain the Cannon R. S. De Saram Shield.
