Champion Sri Jayewardenepura University women’s tennis team

The University of Moratuwa and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura won the Men’s and Women’s titles, respectively, at the Sri Lanka University Games 2024 Tennis Championships held at the University Grounds in Kelaniya.

16 local universities participated in this event, which was conducted by the Sri Lanka Universities Sports Association and organised by the University of Kelaniya.

The University of Moratuwa beat the University of Colombo in the men’s tournament final, while the University of Sri Jayewardenepura beat the University of Colombo in the women’s tournament final.
Meanwhile, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the University of Peradeniya took third and fourth place, respectively, in the men’s tournament.

In addition, the University of Moratuwa and the University of Peradeniya secured third and fourth place, respectively, in the women’s tournament.
