Vidyartha Trustees Night collects over Rs. 20m

Vidyartha Trustees Night collected a record Rs. 20 million plus cash recently at their annual dinner which took place at the Kandy Sports Club.

Vidyartha, Rugby President, Ranjith Weerasinghe and the dedicated supporters raised an astounding Rs. 20m within just 30 minutes to support the 2025 rugby season for the school.

The overwhelming generosity demonstrated by the Vidyartha College rugby community highlighted the unwavering passion and commitment of their old boys.

In addition to the contributions made on the night, several old boys residing overseas pledged substantial donations to further elevate Vidyartha rugby to greater heights. 

Their promises showed the global support and pride that Vidyartha rugby continues to inspire.
