CCC School of Cricket under-12 and 14 teams met at the Mercantile Cricket Association Cricket Academy teams in two games at the Irrigation ground on Sunday.
CCC juniors were too good for the MCA boys and both matches ended with two easy wins for the Maitland Crescent Cricketers. CCC boys won the under-12 match by 82 runs while they also beat MCA in the under-14 by 4 wickets. In the under-12 match, the 10 year old Venuk Hemachandra captured 5 wickets for 12 runs with his spinners.
