The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has granted approval to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to impose power cuts for one hour or two hours from today. The approval has been granted following a request made by the CEB.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who met with visiting Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said it would be a great relief for Sri Lanka in the midst of the economic crisis if debt payments could be restructured. A statement from the President’s Media Division (PMD) said President Rajapaksa recalled the historic close ties between the two countries at the meeting.

Desmond (77) rose to fame with a number of ever green hits such as ’’ Polkatu Hande Mita Wage, Chudamanike, Mathaki Amme and Yanna Ratawate.
