The ritual known as ‘Athupandalama’ took place at the Kataragama Temple in view of the Esala Perehara. Workers were seen loading chemical and organic fertilizer at Ceylon Fertilizers and commercial Fertilizers Company warehouses in Hunupitiya, Wattala.
