Diana Gamage pleads not guilty in passport case



Colombo, August 1 (Daily Mirror)- Former State Minister Diana Gamage today pleaded not guilty to the seven charges filed against her in connection with a magisterial inquiry over a complaint that she obtained a Sri Lankan passport by furnishing false information.

When the matter was called before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court, Diana Gamage informed court that she is not pleading guilty to the charges. Accordingly, the case was fixed for trial on October 24 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thilina Gamage.
