Colombo,January 10 (Daily Mirror) - Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga, has been arrested.

Police said that he was arrested in connection with an incident involving the assault of a neighbor.

He was arrested by the Mirihana Police and is scheduled to be produced in court.

Gone are the days where the umbrella of protection for Rajapakse arrogance against law and order. Now all are normal citizens and have to face the consequences of all criminality, thuggery and impunity committed in the past, present and then think more wisely if any that needs to be committed in the future.
