Finance Ministers of the three creditor countries-India, Japan and France will hold a press briefing in Washington on Thursday to announce Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring negotiations process, the IMF has announced

“Japan, India, and France on Thursday will hold a press briefing on the margins of the Spring meetings to announce the launch of the debt restructuring negotiations process on Sri Lanka,” the IMF said on April 11, quoting a Japanese Finance Ministry statement.

Lately EU countries were trying to re-export Ukrainian grain to poorer nations that they themselves disallow because of poisons in it. Slovakia in last few days destroyed 1,500 tonnes of Ukrainian grain because of banned pesticide harmful to human health. Ukraine allies in the EU like Poland still want to allow their owned stockpiles of poisoned Ukraine grain to be re-exported while banning sale in their own nations.
