Elephant races in Maradana
A New Year Festival with the auspicious of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Mayor Rosy Senanayake and Minister Arjuna Ranatunga was held at Suduwella in Maradana yesterday. A special item at the festival was an elephant race which was held throughout the city last night.
