To be a hub you have to be a place people want to stop to change planes to go somewhere else, not somewhere you simply fly over on your way to somewhere else.Truth is modern planes can fly from anywhere people might want to change flights, like Singapore or Dubai, from there to where they want to go.50 years too late!
