Mr. Jayasiriwhich group betrayed the country. Are you saying UNP betrayed the country. UNP did not. They tried to bring about an amicable settlement to the bloodshed that was engulfing the nation. Though the war is now over the problems of the minority communities have still not been settled. What UNP tried to do was to settle the problem once and for all. When some of the legitimate demands of the minorities were to be considered favourably the majority people like you all think that they are traitors. As long as people like Jaysri who has made the above comment is of such backward view, the country will never be a free and fair country.
