Hirunika Premachandra didn’t mince her words when she spoke to the Daily Mirror about her recent appearance at a UPFA rally which created doubts among sections of the public about her political ambitions and much more.
Interview in English
I’m not afraid to speak the truth - Hirunika Premachandra

Well said Calistus
Another BS politician, Her family was even involving Canadian prime minister. International Criminal Court.
Here we go now. Hirunika hanging on MR's satake.
Her father had lot of connection to underground. No different to Duminda. You get what you sow.
Like Thondaman said there are no permanent enemies in politics.
We will soon see Hirunika and Duminda in the same stage
Shame on you...
Imbeciles are the people who vote for these low lifes

When she became vocal against murderers many in the country hailed her thinking as if she is some kind of an angel who can change the system in the country. They saw a leader in her whom they can rallied behind her. But I always didn’t trust her.
1.She is a daughter of ....
2.No proper education
3.No understanding of the political situation the country is, its economy and even ethnic conflict.
4.She had supported CBK in 90s. For me anyone who supported CBK lacks political wisdom.

Sri lankan style - Fathers death is a qualification to become a politian.
Can you believe the way she talks now and what she spoke few days ago? Twisting her on words by wasting 27 munites..

Appreciate Hirunika's guts. Any son or daughter may have done the same; that's what we think. Seldom not due to outside pressures. She has the will to do it and she does it. I think Sri Lanka should have the youth who could take the lead like this in whatever the field. For her she has chosen Law and Politics. Her views are definitely flowing from her heart and not from someone's brains, I suppose. That's the bright side of it. Let us hope that other youth also learn a lesson from this and come up.

Bharatha's daughter was a kid when the father was enamoured by the charismatic Wijaya Kumarathunga. Wijaya the celluloid hero who wins fighting with number of thugs and bring justice to victims in films would have impacted on Bharatha .He played wijaya's film roles in real politics and became hitha honda chandiya. That is what took him to the house of his supporter when his wife was assaulted.. Hirunika filled the political vacuum of her father who was brutally gunned down.. Offer of money and vehicles and positions , security personnel are so appealing to the family She is too young and not having the support of a strong opposition ,she may have succumbed to the government's pressure.Media made her a superstar in politics too early.

She obviously is a political personality. With politicians ‘way of surviving’ becomes the primary concern and principles can be secondary. She has selected a path that is best suited for her living, disregarding the principles she originally advocated.

Hirunika, you need top brains to back you. make a mapping for next 5 years before you step on. apparently you are intelligent. if i were you, i would go to Harvard Law School (USA) 1st. make an intellectual net-work. Go for next Presidential election. you will get 60% votes. If you go to Harvard, with a promise to serve Sri Lanka, i would offer you some funding. Do'nt worry, you have many fathers who will support you if you go on a sustainable future path. your current path i wont endorse.
