Former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake’s son Shaveen Bandaranayake Kariyawasam recently came into light when he made a comment on a Facebook status posted by MP Namal Rajapaksa regarding his mother Shiranthi Rajapaksa being questioned by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID). In his comment, Shaveen reminded Namal about the harrowing times that he went through during his own mother’s impeachment.

Yes i agree 100% that what happen to your mother was very unfair... but dear... have you question Your dad on his shares issue?? and do you how much the country loss by that stupid deal??? its in parliamentary COPE report, but NO actions taken so far against him... Whats your mothers justice say on that? again your mother one of best CJ Srilanka have ever had, NO doubt!!
