Minister Wimal Weerawansa despite political chores seemed having a great time singing a Sinhala old hit “Punchi Dagakariye” at the carnival held at the Moratuwa Soysapura Maha Vidyalaya last night organised by the ‘Panchayuda Padanama’ and Soysapura youths. (By ISA)

Mr Appuhamy, I totally agree with you. The people who write on the DM comments mostly against the Goverment or its Politicians. The citizens in Sri Lanka mainly Sinhalese very quickly forget the past. That could be one of the Major fact for the Downfall of Sinhala race. We can crticize the bad things but same time we should't forget the good things done by the same characters. Keep writing but be Positive.

He won the war?! ( Who next, dear Lord?) All we know is he left Wijeweera, Marxism, revolution and the JVP's beheaded head high and dry on a pole for his greed for ministerial perks.

I haven't forgotten that he was a member of the party that killed civilians left, right, and centre who didn't agree with their politics.
I haven't forgotten that they used to place tyres around people and set them on fire. I haven't forgotten that they shot the Vice Chancellor of the Mortatuwa University at the campus. Now he may be a joker, but I won't forget that he was a ruthless barbarian.

I know you dont post this comment. The editor posts only the comments which are against wimal and government. No body talks about his duty in the time of war. Most of idiots who comment here dont know the role he played during the war time. He is very much responsible for the victory of the war as a politician.
