In an interview with Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero spoke about the implications of the recent Provincial Council elections. He also reiterated the need to abolish the Executive Presidency, adding that a Common Candidate was the only option left to do so. Interviewed by Indika Sri Aravinda

Thank you daily mirror for the presentation. Yes we need a change of governing in Sri Lanka. Sooner the better. Madam Chandrika and Ven.Sobitha Thero should lead this campaign. All the opposition parties have their support for Ven.Sobitha Thero.

I salute Nayaka Thero for the excellent expression of the ideas that brings a good governance to our country. In his speech he clearly explains the wild ass freedom and power that could be easily exercised by the executive presidential system. This system is a curse to people.

what ever you say it is only a SUBHA AND YASA story. no one will dare to wipe it out when the power is given. take Justice who became the CM of NP. He is no more an independent but holding the proxy for LTTE. all the leaders of UNP when they were in power acted as mad.
